Sequence Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 20, 2026
Sequence keeps almost everything on your device. Here is exactly what happens to your data, including the one thing that is sent off it.
What stays on your device
Your timers, presets, run history, sounds, and settings are stored only on your iPhone, using AsyncStorage. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no record of your activity on any server. We cannot see what you build or how you use the app.
Lock Screen and Live Activities
While a timer is running, Sequence can show live progress on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. To keep that updating while your phone is locked, the app sends the current timer state (such as the stage name and time remaining) and an anonymous push token from Apple to a relay server, which forwards it to Apple’s Push Notification service. The relay is stateless. It passes the update along and stores nothing. This data is only the timer’s on-screen state and contains no personal information.
Purchases
The one time unlock is processed by Apple. RevenueCat receives a randomized anonymous user ID and a record of the purchase so the unlock works across reinstalls and on devices signed in with the same Apple ID. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or anything you create in the app. Their privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Children
Sequence does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If anything material changes, this page will be updated and the Last updated date above will change.
